ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY
Arizona State University is a large and diverse university with four different campuses across Arizona. The school hosts over 40,000 undergraduate students with a diverse range of majors and degree programs. The school is Division I ranked with over 10 male and female sports teams. The university offers ROTC in the Army, Navy and Air Force. For those less inclined, the school offers a sweet range of study abroad/ semester off programs like a semester in Washington, DC and semester at sea. The school mascot Sparky the Sun Devil was actually created by a Walt Disney employee Bert Anthony. Sparky and school spirit plays a huge role on campus as students and faculty alike are encouraged to wear the ASU colors (maroon and gold) as a show of school pride and spirit. Aesthetically the school is perhaps the most pleasing featuring the legendary Palm Walk which is a corridor on campus lined with palm trees dating back to 1916 and over 90 feet tall!!!
