1:14 Trinity College



Founded in 1823, Trinity is the second oldest university in Connecticut after Yale. The school's whopping 100-acre campus is home to over 2,255 students and some of the best Gothic architecture in the Country.
The college's intimate setting amid the bustling city of Hartford allows its students to enjoy the amenities of a historical city while simultaneously providing the calm of a seemingly small town; students can attend a Maroon 5 concert at the Comcast theater and visit historical sites such as the Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe Houses in the same city. Being the State Capital of Connecticut, Hartford allows the students to take advantage of a myriad internship opportunities at various organizations.

Academic departments
Trinity College offers its undergraduate students over 900 courses and 39 majors with the most popular ones being Economics and Political Science. The college encourages its students to fully immerse themselves in their academic pursuits by doing research with professors. The college has a campus in Rome; over 50 percent of Trinity students study abroad in several countries.

Clubs and Organizations
Outside of classes students can pick from over 100 organizations and clubs offered at Trinity to get involved in the student community. One of the most popular student-run organizations at the college is the Bantam Network. The network connects first year students with faculty and other members of the Trinity community, providing support for students who are trying to navigate the new environment.

Paying for Trinity
The estimated annual cost of attendance is $64,246 for undergraduate students. The school offers need-based financial aid to all qualified students. The average amount awarded to students who demonstrate financial need is $43,931.
