Fitchburg State University is a liberal arts and science university located in Fitchburg, MA. This liberal arts and sciences college was founded in 1894, and has 30 undergraduate study programs available. 

  • Fitchburg is most well-known for its nursing department.  It was the first public state university in Massachusetts to offer an accredited Nursing program.  Students applying as first year students for Fall 2016 can access the separate Nursing program application on their website!
  • Beyond the classroom, Fitchburg has a unique CenterStage campus organization that hosts a variety of on campus performances such as artists, musicians, and dance groups as well as art exhibits, lectures, films, and workshops to help broaden student horizons.
  • Student run organizations include a student run newspaper called "The Point", Habitat for Humanity and the Dance club, which is the largest student group on campus!  Check out their website to see what all the 60 other organizations are all about!
  • Fitchburg was recently in the news for their annual Children's Halloween party preparations.  The university's greek sororities and fraternities are in the proccess of transforming on of their residence halls into a spooky haunted house!
