Fitchburg State University is a liberal arts and science university located in Fitchburg, MA. This liberal arts and sciences college was founded in 1894, and has 30 undergraduate study programs available.
- Fitchburg is most well-known for its nursing department. It was the first public state university in Massachusetts to offer an accredited Nursing program. Students applying as first year students for Fall 2016 can access the separate Nursing program application on their website!
- Beyond the classroom, Fitchburg has a unique CenterStage campus organization that hosts a variety of on campus performances such as artists, musicians, and dance groups as well as art exhibits, lectures, films, and workshops to help broaden student horizons.
