Emory University

Emory University has been consistently ranked by US News as one of the top 50 schools in the country. With an 8:1 faculty to student ratio, the university offers a feeling of community that is manageable in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. The school's main campus has Greek life, as well as numerous student organizations and about 20 NCAA Division III varsity teams.

Apart from a thriving social scene, Emory has 9 different schools and a financial aid initiative that meets nearly 100% of a student's demonstrated financial need.
Another thing that is notable about Emory is Oxford College, a smaller campus for first and second year students located an hour away in Oxford, GA. Oxford College offers admission separately from Emory, but students who begin at Oxford are automatically accepted to Emory, and immediately begin at Emory's campus starting their Junior year. Upon graduation from Oxford College, student's receive a two year Associate's degree. Professors from Oxford University (England) visit the College regularly.

Some notable alumni from Emory:
