University of Connecticut

UConn, Storrs Campus
University of Connecticut--more commonly abbreviated as UConn--is Connecticut's state university system and is composed of 1 main campus and 5 different regional campuses, each with their own specialties and character. The main and largest campus--Storrs Campus--offers the widest array of undergraduate and graduate programs; Avery Point in Groton, CT is home to excellent maritime and marine programs; the UConn campus in downtown Stamford is great for business, administration, economics, psychology, urban studies, and more; partnerships, between the remaining three campuses: Torrington, Hartford, and Waterbury include active engagement in the community and the arts and boasts a wide array of degrees in American studies, business administration, psychology, and more! Furthermore, UConn has a law school, nursing programs, teacher certification programs, engineering degrees, and many, many other tailored schools. Students can study basically anything and everything.

Renown for it's athletics, UConn often is top ranked in a number of sports, namely Men's and Women's basketball. UConn Huskies are perhaps top-ranked in school spirit as well! The Storrs campus alone is home to about 18,000 undergraduates and and 6,500 graduate students, yet there are so many ways to help each Husky find their home: joining learning communities, becoming involved in one of over 600 student organizations, joining a greek house, traveling abroad, engaging with one of the 5 cultural centers, and more! Be it the performing arts, athletic competitions, political activism, or different professional and academic services, hobbies, and organizations--UConn can offer you your future!
