2:15 NYS for Academic Excellence

A $1,500 per year scholarship to students from New York state that attend a college in NY. Awards are based off of the student's Regents exam grades. Students must apply through their guidance counselor. About 2,000 students receive the $1,500/yr scholarship while 6,000 students receive $500/yr.

Students must:

• Have graduated from a New York State high school
• Study full time and be matriculated in an approved undergraduate program of study in a New York State post secondary institution
• Be in good academic standing
• Not be in default on any State or federal student loan or on any repayment of state awards
• Be U.S. citizens or qualifying non citizens
• Be New York State residents
