1:32 Princeton University

Princeton University

A research-based institution and member of the Ivy League, Princeton University (established in 1746) remains one of America's most competitive and esteemed schools of higher learning. Princeton University is located in Princeton, New Jersey and is home to a little more than 8,000 students.

Princeton is a poster-child for holding a myriad of academic programs: 36 departments, 50 certificate programs, and boasting their School of Architecture, School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the Bardheim Center for Finance, and their Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. With a 6:1 student faculty ratio, each Tiger (Princeton's nickname) can form close bonds with their professors. Many of these Tigers become prominent and powerful members of government, experts in fields, nobel laureates, etc. What's important, though, is that Princeton can be right for you!

Come have fun learning and playing amongst Princeton's old-gothic style buildings. Social life is focused around undergrad colleges, Eating Clubs, and a host of school-wide traditions. The town of Princeton itself is full of restaurants, theaters, trees, and safety. New York City and Philadelphia are each only about an hour away (so perfect for weekend adventures!).

Be it its strength in academics, athletics, dedication to learning in and outside of campus, the arts, etc., Princeton is a collegiate environment where one can excel his or her individuality. In accepting applicants and administering financial aid, Princeton is need-blind and has even started a no-loan financial aid program!
